Privacy Policy
Last updated: Ottobre 26, 2026
This notice explains what personal data we collect when you visit the Rinascimento Green website or contact us, why we process it and what your rights are, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Who the data controller is
Rinascimento Green, an independent non-profit association, tax code 95048610588, with registered office at Via Grotte dell’Oro 5, 00049 Velletri (RM), Italy. For any privacy question you can write to us at [email protected].
What data we process
- Browsing data: the technical data the hosting service records automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, date and time of the request and browser type.
- Data you send us: your email address and the content of your messages when you write to us.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, only if you choose to sign up.
- Donations: online donations go through PayPal, which processes payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive the data needed to record the donation and meet our legal obligations, such as name, email and amount: we never see or store card details.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Running the site and keeping it secure: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Answering your requests: steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Sending you the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Handling donations and meeting tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for: browsing data for the technical period set by the hosting service, messages for as long as needed to reply and follow up, the newsletter email until you unsubscribe, donation data for as long as the law requires.
Who may receive it
We do not sell or share your data. It may be processed on our behalf, and only for the services listed, by the providers that help us run the site: the hosting service Medula, Cloudflare for the site’s security and speed, the newsletter platform ActiveCampaign, PayPal for donations and, if you start a video, YouTube (Google). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
- access your data and receive a copy;
- ask for it to be corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to processing;
- ask for data portability;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise them, write to [email protected]. If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
