Since 2019 we have been working for climate and social justice on two fronts: participation, through the Transistor community, and campaigning, to move beyond fossil fuels.

Participation
Facilitation, community organizing and deliberative democracy are at the heart of our work. Today we pursue this direction through Transistor, the community we founded to put power back in the hands of communities and encourage grassroots participation.

As Rinascimento Green we run campaigns and advocacy to leave coal, oil and gas behind for good, recognising the shift to renewable energy as one of the essential, top-priority keys to stopping the climate emergency.

Our story
It all started with citizens' assemblies, including AssembraMenti: people, associations and institutions around the same table to imagine the future of their territories.
That experience gave birth to Transistor, a community of activists, initiatives and skills that supports the ecological transition and social justice at local and national level. It has its own internal governance and, through its community organizing network, also runs its own campaigns. All this translates into many different projects and activities: local civic coalitions, climate and ecological justice projects, assemblies and moments of citizen participation, and much more.
